Puckett elected to IBA Council

Emily Puckett was elected as Secretary to the Council of the International Association for Bear Research and Management. Her three-year term will run 2024-2026. IBA is a professional society dedicated to the conservation of the world’s eight bear species. They support managers, researchers, and conservationists through communication, capacity-building, international meetings, and grant opportunities.

I am thankful to the IBA community for all they have done to support my career and I look forward to giving back, and supporting all global efforts towards the conservation of bears and the habitats where they live.
